‘Prosperity sans stability unlikely’

Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has said that prosperity was impossible without peace and stability in the country.

Inaugurating the state-of-the-art building of the District Administration Office of Parbat on Sunday, Minister Thapa added that the development projects and the prosperity plans would move ahead smoothly only in the peaceful and stable environment.

"The first precondition for development and prosperity is peaceful situation and stable government. Environment for investment will be foiled if law and order was not robust," he added.

Likewise, Minister Thapa said that the government was taking initiatives to bring back Nepal’s encroached land and added that national unity was needed for that.

Internal Affairs and Law Minister of Gandaki State Hari Bahadur Chuman and Home Secretary Maheshwor Neupane also expressed their opinions at the event.

Chief District Officer of Parbat Kalpana Ghimire said that the building was constructed with the investment of Rs 43.5 million.
