PM Oli receives best wishes from world leaders

Various world leaders have sent messages extending best wishes for successful renal transplant of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and wishing him speedy recovery. Prime Minister Oli is undergoing the renal transplant at the TU Teaching Hospital in Maharajgunj on Wednesday.

In a message, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India has extended good wishes for Prime Minister Oli’s successful surgery and a speedy recovery. He has also reiterated his government’s offer of all help and assistance for Oli’s complete recovery to full strength.

With his personal prayers and regards for Oli’s health and well-being, the Indian Prime Minister has also said, in the message that he looked forward to Prime Minister Oli’s valuable contribution in taking the bilateral relations to greater heights.

In a similar message, Prime Minister Dr Lotay Tshering of Bhutan has wished for successful surgery and speedy and full recovery of Prime Minister Oli. "The people and the Royal Government of Bhutan join me in praying for a successful surgery and wishing you strength," reads the message.

Prime Minister Tshering has also expressed the confidence that with the best doctors by Prime Minister Oli’s side, the surgery would be a success and that he would make a speedy and full recovery.

Likewise, in a message on behalf of the Government of Japan, Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Saigo Masamichi has expressed his best wishes for the successful surgery of Prime Minister Oli and a speedy recovery.
