Education ministry’s appeal on coronavirus

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has urged all educational institutions/schools, students, teachers and guardians to exercise caution and take preventive measures in connection with the possible risk of coronavirus epidemic.

The ministry has urged the schools and educational institutions to make students aware everyday about how the disease gets transmitted and its protective measures; class teachers to impart information to students about coronavirus and hold discussion about it.

Ministry spokesperson Deepak Sharma issuing a press release Thursday urged the stakeholders to coordinate with local health institutions to conduct sensitization programmes and help provide objective information about the virus.
