HoR meeting fails to enter business

The meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) could not enter its business due to lack of quorum on Tuesday. As a result, it has been put off till tomorrow.

Nepali Congress lawmaker Atahar Kamal Musalman raised objection over the lack of quorum to run the HoR meeting resulting in the postponement of the meeting for 15 minutes. It was later informed via a notice from the parliament secretariat that the HoR meeting was put off till next day.

The HoR was scheduled to consider a proposal relating to Bank and Financial Institution (1st amendment) bill, 2076.
