RSS 59th anniversary: Chief Minister Greetings

State-1 Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai has extended greetings to Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) on the occasion of the 59th anniversary of its establishment.

In a message sent today, Chief Minister Rai said the one and only news agency of Nepal, RSS, should move ahead keeping in mind the changing context.

Bering the only authentic news agency of the country, RSS should present itself as a wide, credible and reliable media, the message noted.

The RSS should develop it as a popular and preferred new agency, he said, calling for RSS family to pay attention on disseminating credible and trustworthy news and presenting investigative as well as factual news contents.

RSS should widely cover the state-level activities in line with federal structure, the message added.

Meanwhile, State-1 Chief Somnath Adhikari ‘Pyasi’ also has wished for the enhanced capacity of the RSS to produce and disseminate free and neutral news content in defense of nationality, freedom, democratic republic, children, senior citizen and women and human rights.

In a separate message today, he said RSS should make its presence strong in materializing the national campaign of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’.
