International Cultural Fair taking place

Aligning with the Visit Nepal Year 2020, the Everest Nepal Cultural Group has planned to organise ’10th International Folk Cultural Fair-2020′ in different cities from February 28 to March 8.

According to the organiser, the main theme of the Fair is ‘Welcome of the tourists, artists – basis for Nepali folk culture’.

At a news conference here today, the organiser shared that the 250 plus artists of diverse cultural groups would land in Kathmandu from Estonia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Denmark, Israel, India, Malaysia and other countries.

Coordinator of the Fair, Ramchandra Koirala, said that the cultural teams would perform the respective countries’ folksongs, music and folk dance.

The fairs would be organised in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Pokhara and other touristic and historical sites.

The organiser hopes that such an event would help contribute the publicity of nation’s cultural, archaeological and other touristic sites in the international market.
