Demonstration held against corruption, women violence

Nepali Campaign for Nepal has demanded an end to corruption. Citing concern over growing cases of corruption, violence primarily violence against women, rape, crime and increasing price rise, the Campaign supporters today staged a demonstration at the local Maitighar Mandala.

The Campaign called for protecting Nepali territory such as Lipulek, Kalapani, Limpiyadhura and Susta, seeking the protection of religion, culture and civilisation.

The Campaign, kicked off with the slogan of ‘abolishment of corruption and political purification: our commitments’, has voiced for free, accessible and quality education and health facilities.

Campaigner Ram Krishna Thapa drew the government attention to ensure rights of all including workers, peasants, women, youth, children, persons with disabilities, and senior citizens by ending unemployment problem, poverty and all sorts of discriminations.
