One killed in road accident
One person died and 13 others were injured when a tractor met with an accident at the Chakmake road section in ward no. 4 of Dudhauli municipality. Brahmalal Dhami,70, of Gichirani in ward no. 1 of the same municipality died in the incident that took place on Saturday, according to DSP at the District Police Office Shyam Bahadur Khatri.
The tractor (Lu. 83 Ta. 6890) was carrying firewood from the Todkepani jungle when it suffered a brake failure and met with the accident.
The injured are undergoing treatment at Sindhuli hospital, police said. Three of them are reported to be in a critical condition.
