Chinese Ambassador congratulates Speaker Sapkota

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi on Monday called on Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota and congratulated him on his election to the post of Speaker of the Parliament.

Ambassador Hou visited Speaker Sapkota at Singhadurbar after he assumed his office.

According to Speaker Sapkota’s Secretariat, the Chinese envoy wished for the successful tenure of Sapkota. During the meeting, discussions on mutual relations of the peoples of two countries and parliamentarians were also discussed.

Sapkota was elected unopposed as the Speaker of the House on Sunday.

During the meeting, General Secretary of the Federal Parliament Secretariat Manohar Prasad Bhattarai and other officials were present.
