Let’s materialize martyrs’ dream: NC President Deuba

(To be published on Jan 30)

Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister, Sher Bahadur Deuba, has urged all for their determination to materialize martyrs’ dream by forgetting minor difference to protect the nation and democracy.

In a message given on the occasion of Martyrs Day today, President Deuba believed that the Martyr’s Day would encourage all sides to fulfill national responsibility and to change Nepal in a beautiful, peaceful and prosperous nation.

The message reads, "Equality is the strong element of democracy- equal right, equal opportunity and equal justice. The martyrs had sacrificed their lives with the belief that Nepal will be beautiful, peaceful and prosperous nation only from strong democracy."

Many martyrs sacrificed their lives in the movement of establishment of democracy and republic so far since 1997 BS.
