Minister Dhakal claims anomalies in health sectors identified

Minister for Health and Population, Bhanubhakta Dhakal, has said that anomalies of health sectors have been identified within two months.

Addressing a programme organised at Asauna Health Post of Shuklaphanta municipality in Kanchanpur district today, Minister Dhakal expressed the health sector could not make progress due to undue commission seeking tendency while purchasing even single medical equipment.

He shared that the government has already announced to upgrade Pipaladi health post to hospital and the Ministry was ready to provide required things, asking the bodies concerned to come up with a concrete proposal in this regard.

Also the Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Minister Dhakal mentioned that the elected governments after the promulgation of new constitution have formed 242 new laws related to related to women’s right to property and inheritance has also been formulated

He expressed determination to make Dalit community landlord at any cost as providing land to the Dalit community has mentioned in the law.

Saying laws related to land has been formulated to resolve the problems of landless squatters, Minister Dhakal made assure the landless squatters that they would get landownership certificate at their own hand by forming High-Powered Commission.

Similarly, member of House of Representatives, Nar Nahadur Dhami, expressed the belief that works related to upgrade the Pipaladi health post to hospital would move ahead as Rs 2.5 million budget has already been allocated in the current fiscal year under Tarai-Madhes prosperity programme.
