Upper House passes bill
National Assembly, the Upper House of the Federal Parliament, today passed the ‘Federal, State and Local Level (Inter-relation Management) Bill, 2075’. The bill was passed unanimously.
Finance Minister Dr Yuba Raj Khatiwada presented the bill on behalf of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
The meeting also decided to send the ‘Policy Research Foundation Bill, 2076’ to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-wise discussions.
Finance Minister Dr Khatiwada had, on behalf the Prime Minister, presented a proposal seeking to send the bill to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-wise debate.
The National Assembly will next meet at 1 pm on January 28.
