Naming State 3 capital through voting

The issue of locating and naming the capital of State 3 would be resolved through voting, said state-3 Speaker Sanu Kumar Shrestha. The SA meeting scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday) would take a decision in this regard, he said.

The meeting is set to respond to queries to be raised by SA members on the proposal relating to naming the capital of State 3 put forwarded by Chief Minister Dormani Poudel, said Rameshwor Phuyal, chief whip of the NCP Parliamentary Party. The proposal was tabled by CM Poudel and seconded by Indra Bahadur Baniya, Parliamentary Party leader of main opposition Nepali Congress. State 3 SA has a total of 110 members.
