Man missing for 16 days found dead
: A person in his mid 40’s who had gone missing for over the past two weeks has been found dead.
Police retrieved the lifeless body of one Surya Narayan Mandal, 45, from a public pond at Rajgadh rural municipality-3.
According to the family source, he was doing a poultry farming near the Ratnasagar Pond locating in the distance of some 1.5 kilometers from his home. As said by his younger brother Shiba Narayan, the man had left home 16 days ago citing for debt collection.
Investigation into the case is underway, it is said.
According to police, the body has been sent to Dharan for post-mortem examinations.
