Volleyball club championship from coming Friday

The RBB-NVA National Women and Men Volleyball Club Championship is taking place from coming Friday.

Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) is mainly sponsoring the championship to be organized by Nepal Volleyball Association (NVA). Preparations are over for the championship to be held during the period on 17-24 January, informed NVA general secretary Jitendra Bahadur Chand.

Twelve teams towards men and eight teams towards women are contesting in the championship to take place at Covered Hall of National Sports Council in Tripureswor.

The winner team will receive a cash prize of Rs 200,000 while the first runner-up will get Rs 100,000 in cash and the third will receive Rs 50,000. Likewise, the best men and women volleyball player will receive Rs 25,000 each.
