Two schools launch online classes in Surkhet

Two schools in Birendranagar have launched online classes in view of the lockdown in the country. The Sainik Boarding School and Children’s Paradise Secondary School have started the online classes to engage the students in study.

Sainik School’s extra curriculum activities chief Betendra Dahal shared that the classes were for the students of Grade 10, 11 and 12 for the first phase. He added that the students were linked to school network. A total of 100 students are attending the online class that run from 10:00am to 3:00 pm every day.

Similarly, Paradise School’s teacher Yadu Prasad Gyawali shared that his school also began such classes from Tuesday. A Grade-9 student at the school Bharat Thapa shared that they were happy to join online class.

The school runs classes in two shifts- first from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and second from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
