State-5 Coronavirus Prevention Fund has over Rs 110 million

The State-5 government has deposited Rs 100 million in the Coronavirus Prevention, Control and Treatment Fund it has set up. With this, the amount in the Fund now has reached to Rs 117 million 584 thousand so far.

Arrangements have been made in which people willing to contribute to the fund can do so through mobile banking as well.

Various individuals, organisations, businesses and banks and financial institutions have been contributing to the fund.

In this connection, Shine Resunga Development Bank deposited Rs 2.55 million, the Bhatbhateni Super Market Rs 2.5 million and Siddhartha Bank, Kumari Bank, Tinau Mission Development Bank and Laxmi Bank each deposited Rs 1 million on Friday, the Chief Minister’s press advisor Sher Bahadur KC said.

Similarly, Citizen Bank has deposited Rs 700 thousand, and the Agricultural Development Bank, Garima Bank, Mega Bank and Machhapuchchhre Bank and the Rastriya Beema Sansthan each has deposited Rs 500 thousand. The Gandaki Development Bank and Nirdhan Utthan Bank have each contributed Rs 400 thousand.

The Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers has provided Rs 396 thousand 97, the Crimson College Rs 200 thousand and the FNCCI state committee Rs 251 thousand, the Lumbini Eye Institute Rs 222,222, the Grameen Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited Rs 250 thousand and the Samuhik Bachat Tatha Rin Sahakari Sanstha Rs 200 thousand.
