One killed in lightning
A youth died after being struck by lightning in Baglung municipality today. Shanker Rijal,26, a resident of Galuwa in ward no. 13 of the municipality was struck by lightning at his home this afternoon.
Seriously injured in the incident, Rijal died during treatment at the Dhaulagiri zonal hospital, according to police inspector at the District Police Office Hem KC.
Rasmi Bhatta,20, was also injured in the same incident. Likewise, a buffalo in the cowshed of Rijal also died after being hit by the lightning.
