NRNA Korea sent the medical goods by chartering a Korean Airlines aircraft, it is stated. The goods arrived here on Friday afternoon.

A fund raising campaign was launched for this purpose in Korea under the coordination of NRNA National Coordination Council South Korea and with the collaboration of the Nepalis there. A fund of Rs 14 million 79 thousand 775 was collected within four days of launching of the campaign.

NRNA South Korea general secretary Bimal Subdei said they had appealed to the Nepalis in South Korea to provide 20,000 Won per person to buy one set of the coronavirus test kit. Each kit costs 20 US Dollars.

It is said it can be ascertained whether a person has coronavirus infection or not by testing samples using the kit in three hours.

NRNA South Korea stated that kits worth 42,000 US Dollars and other medical supplies, including PPEs, worth Rs 2.4 million have been sent to home country at this hour of crisis in the first phase.
