CBDC to provide Rs 9.1 million COVID-19 prevention and control fund

The Construction Business Development Council (CBDC) is providing Rs 1.3 million to each State for the prevention, control and treatment of COVID-19.

A meeting of the Council chaired by Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Basanta Kumar Nembang, decided Thursday to provide a total Rs 9.1 million to the seven States. Minister Nembang is the Council Chair.

Before this, the Council has deposited Rs 10 million in the Coronavirus Prevention, Control and Treatment Fund, Council member-secretary Gopal Prasad Sigdel stated in a press release.

The Council comprises representatives of Ministries and bodies related to the construction business as well as of the Federation of Contractors Associations of Nepal.
