Pokhara metropolis has Rs 36.4 million in relief fund

The relief fund set up by Pokhara Metropolitan City so far has collected Rs 36.47 million.

The metropolis has established the fund in support of the hard hit section of society from the lockdown announced to prevent COVID-19. The fund aims to provide relief to the daily wage earners, labourers and the needy families.

Pokhara metropolis has deposited Rs 20 million in the fund from its side while the Gandaki state government has provided Rs 10 million. Similarly, various organisations and individuals have contributed Rs 1 million 671 thousand and 61 to the fund.
