Lumbini State Hospital relieves five doctors

The Lumbini State Hospital has decided to relieve five doctors from the duty citing they remained absent without any official information.

Those doctors had been with the hospital as specialists. As they are absent for around one and half month, they are sacked today, according to Hospital medical superintendent Dr Rajendra Khanal.

They are Dr Bardan Oli and Dr Tara Prasad Sharma of Radiology Department, Dr Prakash Neupane of ENT Department, nuero surgeon Dr Suwash Chandra Chaudhary and Emergency Department’s Dr Prakriti Karki. They had been appointed on a contract-basis and were removed following the direction of State government. They went out of contact without any information at a time when the country is facing the grave crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
