APF sets up border outpost at two places in Kailali

The Armed Police Force (APF) has set up two border outposts at two places in the district sharing border with India.

The paramilitary force has set up a border outpost each at Srilanka of Tikapur municipality-8 and at Kusumghat of Bhajani municipality-3.

Chief of the BOP Khakraula, Inspector Chandra Dev Bhatta said that a squad of 10 personnel under the command of Sub-Inspector has been assigned at each BOP.

Municipality mayor Tapendra Bhadur Rawal said establishment of the two BOPs would help curb illegal activities and movement of people across the border. He added that the people living in the area close to the border have also felt secure with this.
