Blood donation programme in Kathmandu

Twenty one people donated blood at an emergency blood donation programme organised by Nobel Saccos Literary Institution here on Sunday.

The blood donation aims to supply blood amidst coronavirus crisis, said the Institution’s President Saraswati Gautam. The programme was organised by meeting all security guidelines as the country is under the lockdown, she said.

Nepal Red Cross Society, Bhaktapur and Anil Ratna Tuladhar, Coordinator of Door To Door Blood Collection and secretary of Blood Donors Association Nepal provided technical support, she said. The programme took place at the central office of the Institution at Ghattekulo.
