PM vows justice to Dalit community

(To be published on March 21)

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government would work through its policies and programmes for the dignified life and ensure access to justice to the ‘Dalit’ community to bring them in the mainstream of the state.

In a message given on the occasion of the 55th year of International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination today, PM Oli has expressed heartfelt condolence to those known and unknown martyrs who lost their lives in the struggles waged against all sorts of discriminations.

The PM praised the contributions and sacrifices made by the Dalit community for the cause of Nepal’s unification and all the democratic movements taken for political changes. He reiterated his commitment for the promotion of human rights through the means of cultural transformation in the country for the upliftment of all communities, while arguing to run social campaigns to end all anti-humanitarian activities.
