‘Sale and distribution of daily essentials should be made transparent’

Nepal Uddyog Banijya Tatha Byabasayi Mahasangh has said that sale and distribution of daily essentials should be made transparent and effective.
The Mahasangh is the federation of chambers of commerce and traders.
A meeting of the Mahasangh held at Naxal today urged the bodies concerned to make the sale and distribution of daily essentials, masks, sanitizer, medicines and petroleum products transparent and effective.
Mahasangh chairperson Kamala Gurung said that all citizens should be responsible and helpful from their respective side during hard times in the country.
The Mahasangh opined that the government should be responsible and take effective steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nepal.
The meeting also decided to ask banks and financial institutions to provide concession on the rate of interest as industry and business sectors have been hit hard by fear of COVID-19.
