Yogi assigned Acting General Secretary of Federal Parliament

Speaker at the House of Representatives (HoR) Agni Prasad Sapkota has allocated the responsibility of Acting General Secretary of the Federal Parliament to Gopal Nath Yogi today. Yogi was given the responsibility of the Acting General Secretary another decision was made, according to a press statement released by Speaker Sapkota on Sunday.

The decision was made by Speaker Sapkota in coordination with National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Timilsina. Yogi will assume his office on Monday, it is said.

The post had remained vacant after the Federal Parliament’s General Secretary Manohar Prasad Bhattarai retired from service due to age bar.
