SAARC video conference against COVID-19 begins

In their bid to come up with a collective strategy against coronavirus pneumonia in the SAARC region, a video conference has started involving heads of states and prime ministers of the SAARC member states on Sunday evening.

Prime Minister of Nepal and SAARC Chair KP Sharma Oli and leaders from SAARC member states have participated in the conference.

PM Oli supported and welcomed the statement of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for SAARC leaders to come up with a strengthened strategy against the spread of the infection.

For the purpose of the video conference, Nepal’s PM Oli reached the Office of the Prime Minister at Singha Durbar for the first time after getting a successful kidney transplant.
