Rs 900 thousand looted in Chitwan
Two persons have been looted at Khairahani municipality of eastern Chitwan today. Anil Rai looted Rs 900,000 from Narayan Gharti, 31, and Padam Gharti, 30, of Satyabarti rural municipality in Gulmi district.
Anil Rai had called them at Land Revenue Office to give advance payment for a plot of land located at Khairahani municipality and later Rai asked them to come 200 meters inside from Magani chowk and robbed them of the amount, said the victims.
Police said that Rai ran away after taking the bag with the money and a search for him was underway.
