Youths distribute masks and sanitizer for free; teach sanitation to prevent COVID-19

In order to adopt some preventive measures against WHO-declared ‘pandemic’, COVID-19, some youths have distributed face masks for free along with hand sanitizer here in Itahari today.

They distributed face masks and hand sanitizers to 400 plus pedestrians and bystanders nearby Reyukai Chautari of western side of Itahari.

Logistically supported by Shiddisahi Surgicals of Itahari-6, the drive is to make people aware about steps to do daily cleanliness to be away from Corona virus, said Bikram Ghimire, the proprietor of the Surgicals. The youths also taught curious commoners about WHO-recommended steps of cleanliness to prevent the widespread virus.

Itahari so far does not have any confirmed cases of COVID-19. However, the local government, Itahari Sub Metropolitan City, is cautiously making awareness drive about prevention measures with continued miking to all nook and corners of the sub metropolis since February end.
