Parliamentarians want environment conducive to reduce human-wildlife conflict

Lawmakers of the National Assembly (NA), the upper chamber of the Federal Parliament, have drawn attention of the government to act meant for reducing human-wildlife conflicts.
Speaking at the special hour of the NA meeting today, the lawmakers took exception to the attacks by leopards, elephants and other wild animals and the deaths of kids in different parts of the country.
NA lawmaker Prakash Pantha demanded that the government be resolve the problems caused by wildlife animal’s attacks adding that nine kids were killed within two years in Tanahun.
Likewise, lawmaker Devendra Dahal asked to immediately manage the officials in Damak Land Revenue Office to get the land registered as the service seekers were at the receiving end for lack of officials.
Similarly, Ganga Belbase expressed her reservation for mere formal celebration of the International Worker’s Women Day on March 8.
Also expressing her opinions in the special hour, Dr Bimala Rai Poudel asked the government declare Singhadurbar as the plastic free zone.
Likewise, lawmaker Shekhar Kumar Singh sought the government efforts to manage the elephant terror along the territory of Saptari to Parsa, while lawmaker Hariram Chaudhary urge the government to immediately manage the teachers in the community schools.
Parliamentarian Ram Narayan Bidari said that officials of all ministries should come at the federal parliament meeting and the provisions should be made accordingly.
