Itahari to launch awareness campaign against COVID-19

The Itahari Sub Metropolitan City has decided to launch various awareness programmes against coronavirus (COVID-19).

The sub metropolis 74th meeting took a decision in this regard, said deputy mayor of the sub metropolis, Laxmi Gautam at a press conference here on Thursday.

The meeting decided to set up a helpdesk at Itahari hospital, manage soaps and water and put up banners featuring information against the virus at schools and teach people how to wash hands properly with soaps and water, said Gautam. Private health institutions have been also requested to cooperate in this drive.
