Prachanda asks party cadres not to get perturbed

Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has asked the party cadres not to get disturbed from the minor misunderstandings surfaced at the party’s top leadership.

At a programme in Chitwan on Sunday, the former Prime Minister urged the NCP cadres to quit such feelings if they have developed after the party’s secretariat meeting held some days ago.

"Misunderstanding among the top leaders takes place in some agendas. The ideas are divided today but they will be the same tomorrow. But, it will be difficult to patch up if the cadres at the lower committees were divided over the same issues," a district-level leader of NCP Chitwan quoted Dahal as saying.

On the occasion, Prachanda said that there was no problem at the party’s top leadership and directed the party cadres at the lower committees to work for party building.

Likewise, the NCP Chairman also urged the party leaders and cadres to expand the party’s activities at the grassroots level and talk to the people about the party’s plans of action and government’s performance.

During the programme, Prachanda also said that the decision of the party secretariat would be implemented. "Another Chairman and Prime Minister is in a hospital for treatment. The decision will be implemented after he is discharged from the hospital," Prachanda said referring to the appointment of party leader Bamdev Gautam in the National Assembly.
