Holi to spread awareness against coronavirus

The Mithila Theatre Art Council is to observe this year’s holi festival by spreading awareness against coronavirus or COVID-19. An awareness programme will be oranised to spread message on the ways to save oneself from the virus and flowers will be used instead of coloured powder for the festival, said the Council chair Parmesh Jha.

An interaction will also be organised on the Holi festival while various competitive events will be held including a Holi song contest. The best participants will be awarded.

Holi festival, on Monday, is being observed with caution considering the directive of the local administration to not carrying out any activity that involves large gathering of people, Jha said.
