Newly appointed Minister Khatiwada takes oath of office

Newly appointed Minister for Finance, and Communications and Information Technology, Dr Yubraj Khatiwada, has taken oath of office and secrecy before President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

At a special programme organised at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas, on Wednesday, Minister Khatiwada took oath of office and secrecy in accordance with Article 80 of the Constitution of Nepal.

Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota, National Assembly Chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, ministers, senior leaders of Nepal Communist Party and high-ranking government officials were present on the occasion.
