Schools urged to avoid celebrations, gatherings

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has urged schools in the country to not organize annual celebrations, gatherings and parents meet. The request has been made as a precaution in consideration of the increased risk of infection of Coronavirus, said the Ministry spokesperson Dipak Sharma.

Accordingly, the Ministry has also asked school management to complete the annual examinations from Grade 1 to 9 by March 18. The Secondary Education Examinations for Grade 10 has already been scheduled to start from coming March 19.
