Four COVID-19 suspected test negative

Among the five Nepalis returning from China and South Korea and suspected of having contracted COVID-19, four tested negative while result of the fifth test was awaited.

The tests conducted at Teku-based Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital has shown three returning from South Korea and one from China were negative while the result of another Nepali returning from South Korea was awaited, according to Prem Sagar, Chief of Health Emergency Operation Centre under the Ministry of Health and Population.

Dahal said, "The result of test on four Nepalis was negative while we are waiting for the report of a Nepali returning from South Korea."

They were admitted to the isolation ward of the Hospital on Saturday and Sunday after fever and common cold were detected on them. "All four tested negative have returned home," shared Dahal.
