Preparations completed for PM Oli’s hospitalization

All the preparations in connection to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s hospitalization for kidney transplantation have been completed.

According to the PM’s Press Advisor Surya Thapa, all the preparations for the 69-year-old PM to get admitted to the hospital tomorrow had been completed.

PM Oli, also the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairperson, is going to be hospitalized tomorrow at the Maharajgunj-based Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center of the TU Teaching Hospital for the kidney transplantation scheduled for coming Wednesday.

It is for the second time that PM Oli is undergoing kidney transplantation. Oli first had undergone kidney transplantation in Indian capital city of New Delhi some 12 years ago.

The PM had briefed the party secretariat meeting held at the PM’s official residence at Baluwatar on Sunday about the plans for his kidney transplantation.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers will hold its regular Monday meeting tomorrow before the PM is admitted to the hospital. The cabinet meeting was held on Sunday evening too, PM’s press advisor Thapa shared.
