Tenth National Fine Arts Exhibition on April 14

National fine arts exhibition is to be organised this year also on the occasion of the founding day of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA).

As decided by NAFA, the 10th edition of the fine arts exhibition will commence from April 14. The exhibition will run for three weeks, NAFA Chancellor Kanchha Kumar Karmacharya said, addressing a press conference here on Sunday.

He said the collection of artworks has begun for the exhibition which aims to include 500 pieces of works of art. A 65-member Exhibition Organising Main Committee has been formed with Chancellor Karmacharya as the coordinator for the exhibition. Seven different sub-committees have already started their work for preparing for the exhibition in different genres, said Sushma Rajbhandari, coordinator of the Exhibition Publicity Sub-committee.

The best artists under various genres participating in the exhibition would be awarded. The award for best art writing and the National Fine Art Award will also be conferred to the winners on the occasion.
