Clean up at Pashupati area

With the celebration of the Mahashivaratri festival over, drive for clean up at Pashupati area was launched. The trash and garbage was collected and managed.

It was also conducted as part of 354th week of the Bagmati sanitation mega campaign. The Ram Mandir area of the Pashupati was made tidy by the sanitation volunteers.

As many as 350 volunteers representing the Pashupati Area Development Trust, High Powered Bagmati Civilization Integrated Development Committee, Nepal Army, Nepal Police, the Armed Police took part in the sanitation campaign.

Campaigner Mala Kharel informed that the sanitation collected and managed four metric tons of garbage.

Similarly, under the 282nd week of Bishnumati clean up drive, the garbage was also collected in the Janggur Gudkhu stream area of Tarakeshwor municipality-6. Even a public awareness campaign was accompanied with the sanitation activities. Campaigner Shova Kant Pande informed that nearly 230 persons from different walks of life attended the clean up drive.

The clean up drive was also conducted at Bagmati above Guheshwori, Rudramati, Aloknagar, Manohara, Sundarighat of Kathmandu and Godawari river of Lalitpur.
