First investment conference to take place in Rolpa

Rolpa municipality is organizing an investment conference at Liwang on February 26-27.

The conference would be attended by industrialists, traders, tourism entrepreneurs, hydro investors and experts. Municipality mayor Purna KC shared that the conference was hosted to attract investment in the areas of hydropower, tourism, agriculture and enterprises.

The conference is to cash in on high investment potentials of the district, he said, adding energy, agriculture and tourism sectors would take advantage of the conference.

He informed that the district coordination committee and Rolpa chamber of commerce and industry would co-host the conference.

Host committee’s joint coordinator Biswo Kumar Chand expressed his confidence that the conference would open up avenues for investment in energy and tourism areas.
