Prof Dr Gurung appointed Chancellor of Gandaki University
Prof Dr Ganeshman Gurung was appointed the Chancellor of the proposed Gandaki University.
Chief Minister of Gandaki State Prithvi Subba Gurung administered oath of office to the newly-appointed Chancellor of the university on Sunday.
A permanent resident of Sirubari village in Andhikhola Rural Municipality-1, Syangja, Prof Dr Gurung served as the Constituent Assembly Member and the Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC) in the past.
The Gandaki State government had formed a three-member committee headed by Social Development Minister Nardevi Pun to recommend the names for the post of chancellor.
