Incumbent govt has no solid achievements: NC VP Nidhi

Nepali Congress (NC)’s Vice-President Bimalendra Nidhi has hit out the incumbent government that its two-years of performance has been dismal and been without any solid achievements.

Addressing the party cadres’ meeting at Kushma of Parbat district on Friday, Vice-President Nidhi blamed that the government failed to meet people’s expectations. The government’s ministers had done nothing substantial other than just inaugurating the development projects that were initiated by the erstwhile government led by NC, Nidhi further ranted that the government with two-thirds majority was not willing to fulfill the promises it made in its the manifesto.

Nidhi, also former Deputy Prime Minister, expressed confidence that departments and organizations within the NC were given full shape and the party was preparing for the next general convention.

Likewise, NC’s central member Arjun Prasad Joshi blamed the government’s inability to curb the growing cases of corruption, rape, violence. According to him, the economic index of the country was also weak and the foreign policy imbalanced.
