NC Saptari stages demonstration demanding release of its cadres

Nepali Congress (NC) Saptari on Monday staged demonstration in Rajbiraj demanding release of youths who were arrested on charge of misbehaving with Dakneswori municipality.

NC cadres marched around Rajbiraj chanting slogans against the registration of fake case and detention of its youth activists.

The rally taken out under the leadership of NC Saptari President Dinesh Kumar Yadav was converged into a corner meet at Martyr Dashanchowk.

It may be noted that Rajib Kumar Roy of Rajbiraj municipality-3, Amarendra Yadav of ward 5 and Arjun Yadav of ward 7 were arrested for allegedly misbehaving with Rajbiraj mayor Shiva Narayan Sah on February 4. All 18 local levels of the district had shut their office and service in protest of the ill-treatment meted out against mayor Sah.
