Former deputy administrative officer at Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), Samundra Bahadur Shakya breathed his last today.

He passed away while undergoing treatment at Tripureswor-based Blue Cross Hospital in the capital today. He was admitted to the hospital after he complained cardiac pain. He was 65.

Shakya had served at RSS for over 39 years in administrative and news service at the National News Agency. He is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.
