CM Poudel calls for media to support prosperity campaign

Chief Minister of Bagmati State Dormani Poudel has called for media persons to lend support in the national campaign of prosperity.

Addressing a programme organized to administer oath of office to Bagmati Sate committee member of Press Organization Nepal here today, CM Poudel argued that the media persons should disseminate positive news in the society.

He urged the media to be positive and supportive to the government so that the public could also nurture optimism. Similarly, State Minister for Internal Affairs Shalik Ram Jammakatel said the state government was planning to bring effective programmes to journalists.

Coordinator of the Press Organization Nepal Maheshwar Dahal, Co- In Charge Om Sharma and journalist Gagan Bista had urged the journalists to remain aloof from paid and fake news in course of their exercising their professionalism.
