Price of LP gas goes up

Nepal Oli Corporation has increased the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas or LPG. The NOC increased the price LPG or cooking gas by Rs 25 per cylinder. The new price would be effective from this midnight.

However, the price of petrol, diesel and kerosene oil has been reduced by Rs 1 per litre. With this, the new retail price of petrol is Rs 109 per litre and diesel and kerosene oil is Rs 99 per litre. The price of aviation fuel however remains unchanged.

According to the NOC, it has been making adjustment of the price of petroleum products in every 15 days as per ‘Automatic Fuel Pricing Mechanism Implement Work Procedure -2071’. The Indian Oil Corporation, that supplies fuel to NOC, sends new price list of petroleum, products on the first and 16th day of every English month.
