Leaders, artists urge everyone to make Visit Year successful

Leaders of various political parties and artists have urged people from diverse sectors to play active role from their sides to make the Visit Year 2020 successful. At a press conference organized by Prempurna Pratap Foundation Nepal here Friday, standing committee member of the ruling NCP and former minister, Lal Babu Pandit, said all sides concerned could contribute from their sides for making the VNY 2020 a success.

He argued that the present government was serious to make VNY 2020 successful and carrying out activities to realize the national ambition of ‘prosperous Nepal: happy Nepali.’ Nepal has huge potential to tourism development, he said, adding that every citizen and stakeholders can encourage others for actively taking part in the campaign under the VNY 2020.

On the occasion, humor artist Shreekrishna Simkhada informed nationwide programmes were being held to boost VNY campaign.

Foundation Vice-Chairperson Shanti Shrestha, social activist Punya Gautam and advocate Prabin Pradhan also stressed the cooperation from all sides for VNY activities.
