‘Govt criticized for failure to publicize its performance’

Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Banskota has said that the government was criticized in the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) as it failed to publicize its performances.

Talking briefly to media persons after the ongoing central committee meeting venue in Rastriya Sabhagriha on Saturday, Banskota said that the government was criticized in the central committee meeting as the leaders don’t only talk about the government’s good things but also the flaws.

"Some friends have criticized the government. Criticism in the communist party is natural. In some cases, for lack of understanding while for others by knowing and rest of the others do it due to their obligations to criticize," he argued the reasons behind the government’s criticism by the NCP leaders in the ongoing central committee meeting.

Banskota, who is also the central committee member of the NCP, said that it is necessary to consider the praiseworthy jobs done by the government.

He also said that the party leaders should observe the government’s jobs seriously without making surfacial analysis.

Currently, the government has arrived to a point to gradually exhibit the results by rising above from the base point, Minister Baskota claimed.
