All-out efforts to make parliament alive: Speaker Sapkota

Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has said he would make all-out efforts to make the federal parliament transparent and pro-people. Talking to media persons at his office on Thursday, Speaker Sapkota reiterated that he would focus on making parliament lively and committed to people.

"I devote myself for the strengthening of democracy," he said, adding that he would ensure journalists’ easy access to parliament reporting. Speaker Sapkota further said he would make effort to arrange ‘lobby reporting’ for quality reporting.

According to him, discussion and consultation would be held on how the parliament would be able to work more and more for the people.
